Meet Our Team » Massiel Arauz Gonzalez
Hi! I’m Massiel Arauz. I was born in Panama and spent my early childhood there before moving to the U.S. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Mount St. Mary’s University, and I started working at Catoctin Mountain Growers in May of 2025.
What I enjoy most about my role here is the variety—no two days are exactly the same. I’ve never been great at sitting still, so I really appreciate that some of my responsibilities get me out into the greenhouse while still staying productive. It’s also meaningful to me that I can help create a more welcoming environment for our Hispanic team members by bridging any language gaps.
Outside of work, I’m single with no kids—but I do have three fur babies who totally run my world. In my free time, I love playing video games, hanging out with friends, sharing memes, and staying active with workouts.
I’m proud to be part of a team that values flexibility, inclusivity, and hard work—and I’m excited for what’s ahead!
