I was born in NJ and raised in Frederick, MD. I graduated from Hood College with a Bachelor’s in Communication Arts. My first job out of school was at a garden center and I ended up enjoying the horticultural industry so much, I never left! The seasonal nature of the business always keeps things interesting. I love getting to be around colorful plants year-round, as well as the ability to spend time outside each day getting sunshine, fresh air and exercise. When I’m not at work, I enjoy drawing, fiber arts, jewelry making, creative writing, playing video games and spending time with family and friends.
